Elks Of The Month 2024
Elks Officer Of The Quarter 2024
Elks Officer Of The Quarter 2024
Ron Schlatter was awarded September 2024 Elk of the Month. Ron Schlatter needs no introduction to the accomplishments and goodwill that he has put forth into this Lodge since his initiation into Loveland Elks Lodge. He has never wanted, nor needed, to be recognized for the unselfish ways through the years that he has promoted and worked in making us stand out in all the works that has made Loveland Elks #1051 one of the best Lodges in our District. He has gone through the chairs and was an Exalted Ruler and an active Past Exalted Ruler. He was inspirational in getting Loveland's Little Britches Rodeo started and pitched in to help other Lodges get their Rodeos going. He has served on our committees for Youth Activities, Drug Awareness, By-Laws, Budgets, Board of Directors, Steak Committee, and played a significant role on the Building Committee along with our move into our new facility. As a Veteran himself, he promotes programs in helping Veterans in our Community and State. He has been a phenomenal mentor not only to Officers, but to members needing information or advice in every aspect concerning Elkdom. So Ron, our sincere Thank You for the many years and hours you have supported and continue to support us in all aspects as a true and loyal Elk of Loveland #1051. You are greatly appreciated and respected by us all.
Our Officer of the Quarter for July-September of 2024 is none other than John Steinman. John carries a sense of divine favor, benevolence, strength, responsibility and kindness in his role as a trustee, who has given and added much to the leadership of our Lodge. He is not a person who is new to these attributes, as he manifests his goodness and exceptional creativity to not only our Lodge, but to many organizations in our community, helping those in need. Loveland Elk*s Lodge cannot express the gratitude we feel to the higher powers for sending this man to us, who is available for our every want and need-which have been many. He is available to his fellow ocers, every committee needing assistance, a major player of the Veterans Assistance Program, helping in the kitchen, setting up Lodge functions, and cleaning up after all of us. He is one of the trustees who keeps giving, and we are members who keep taking, and forgetting to say Thank You John for your unending commitment and guidance to our Lodge. Congratulations and we hope you will continue to stand by us and guide us in all our workings of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. We so appreciate you.
Elk Special Awards
Donn Smith accepted two Prestigious Elk awards yesterday, Sunday March 10th. He accepted both the "Loveland Elks Lodge #1051 Officer of The Year" as well as the "Grand Exalted Ruler's Outanding Service Commendation". These awards are very well deserved. Donn goes above and beyond every day for the Lodge, with so much of what he does going unnoticed because of his inherent humbleness, which is something all Elks should aspire to. Way to go Donn...We honor your service to the order!
